Delivery Information

At Somna Beds, we aim to provide a smooth and professional delivery experience. Below is everything you need to know about how your order will be processed and delivered.

Order Processing & Dispatch

  • Processing Time: Orders placed after 10:00 AM will be processed the next working day.

  • Crafting & Packaging: Your items are expertly handcrafted by our skilled team, then securely packaged and prepared for dispatch.

  • Dispatch Notification: Once your order is ready, you’ll receive a confirmation along with details of our trusted delivery partner.

Delivery Scheduling

  • Within 1–5 working days of dispatch, you’ll receive an email with your scheduled delivery date and a 4-hour time slot.

  • Our delivery partner will require confirmation before attempting delivery, ensuring you’re available to receive your items.

  • On the day of delivery, the courier will call you 10–30 minutes before arrival.

Delivery Charges

  • Free Delivery: We offer free 2-man room-of-choice delivery across most of the UK mainland.

  • Additional Charges: Deliveries to remote or hard-to-reach locations may be subject to a delivery surcharge.

Postcode Surcharges

Some postcode areas may require a small surcharge due to location or accessibility:

  • £30: LL, SA, EX, DT, BH, ML, IP, BN, SO, TN, G, EH, KA, TD, FK, DD, KY, DG, PO, NR, CT, PH

  • £40: PL, TQ, TR, PA

  • £60: AB, IV, BT

  • £40 delivery fee for Northern Ireland

If your postcode falls into one of these zones, our team will contact you to arrange payment. Your order will be paused until the surcharge is paid.


Failed Deliveries

If you are unavailable at the time of delivery or do not follow the required delivery instructions, a failed delivery charge of up to £60 will be applied.

What Happens if I Don’t Pay the Failed Delivery Charge?

  • The failed delivery charge must be paid within 24 hours of being issued.

  • If payment is not received within this time, your order will be cancelled

  • Any refund issued will have the failed delivery charge and a 50% restocking fee deducted.
